I thought l would just tell you a little bit about the people that make up ChipsAway Shrewsbury. I have a great team, and we all work really well together, to make our customers really happy. I always had a love for cars from a very early age, and ChipsAway seemed a natural choice for my own business. I could put the business experience l had gained in my previous career, and my passision for cars to good use in a customer service focused operation. My team and l take great pride in looking after customers and their vehicles, and there's nothing better than getting some great feedback after doing a repair.

I'm a real petrolhead and love cars, motorbikes and my camper van, and own probably more vehicles than l should do! Pam (my wife) and l have 2 great kids, a 'spoiled to death' dobermann and a cat.

Scott joined the team in 2004, and came from a background of bodywork fitting & prep, and mechanical work. He's a real perfectionist, and likes things to be right for our customers. With a very adaptable nature, he'll turn his hand to almost anything, and enjoys a challenge ("bet you can't do this Scott" we'll often say - but he can!!).

Scott has a love for old classic motorbikes, and enjoys nothing more than tinkering about with his 1950's Sunbeam. With his years of mechanical experience, he also helps out with his friends rally car.

SCOTT REAY: ('Scotty'):

Timmy became a member of the team back in 2007, and came with a llittle previous experience of painting and vehicle detailing, but one of his main strengths was dealing with customers. He is now our main painter, but also loves the interaction with the customers when quoting and handing over their repaired vehicles.

Tim's a speed freak-petrolhead too, and when he's not at work, you may find him hurtling down the Wrekin or Ercall on a mad bike with only a back brake! or cruising around in his uniquely customised van.

TIM HARRIS: ('Timmy'):

Being married to me (Stuart), it was almost inevitable that Pam would get involved with the business in some shape or form. She now 'cooks the books', handles reception and sales duties, and tries to keep us from becoming dehydrated. She has great customer care skills, and gets on well with everyone (unless you've not paid your bill!).

Away from work, she loves our trips out in our camper van, and taking the dog on some great country walks.

PAM WILLIAMS: ('Pammy'):

Glynn is the newest edition to the ChipsAway Shrewsbury team, but has instantly fitted in like a missing jigsaw piece. He came with some valeting and limited painting experience, but is now learning very quickly and doing a great job. He fits in well because he's such a likeable fella, and gets on great with customers.

Outside work, Glynn loves playing and watching football, and socialising with his friends. To stay in perfect shape, he regularly fights off the crowds of adoring ladies, and is practicing to become chief taster for bier speciale!
