ChipsAway is the world’s leading SMART repairer. Established in 1994, and now has a worldwide network of more than 500 skilled professionals, predominantly operating as franchisees.

More locally, we began in mid January 1999, when Stuart Williams started operation of a franchise, offering a mobile service to car trade customers in Telford. From that time we have expanded to also cover Shrewsbury and surrounding areas to trade, retail and business customers, initially on a mobile basis. In late 2004, we opened a Car Care centre in Battlefield, Shrewsbury, and were able to expand our range of services and products.

OUR STAFF: We are a small team of 4 people. Pictured opposite from right to left is Stuart Williams (Director), Pam Williams (Company Secretary), Scott Reay (Mobile Paint Technician), and Tim Harris (Paint Technician). We have a varied background between us, including body shop, mechanical, valeting, training, managerial and customer services.

OUR AIM: We focus heavily on customer care, and pride ourselves on the service we offer. We will always be honest with our customers, and not promise something we can’t deliver, even if we don’t get the job. Value for money is another objective for us, but we will never compromise our quality just to make it cheaper. We value our reputation above making a fast buck! With our location, staff and products, this enables us to offer high quality repairs, the customer service you would expect from a local family run business, with the backup of an international company.
